Application Process

Please follow the steps below and complete/submit any necessary information to the Athletic Department.  

• FOR PAID POSITIONS: 

  • Complete the Enfield Public Schools Coaching Application

  • Answer these preliminary coaching questions.

  • Provide State of Connecticut Coaching Certification

    • To renew or obtain initial certification CLICK HERE to visit the State of Connecticut Certification website for detailed instructions.(For initial certification, must hold a current State of Connecticut Teaching certificate or have completed the 45 hour Connecticut Coaching Certification Course. 

    • To renew or obtain an Emergency Coaching Certification, CLICK HERE to complete the form.  This is available for up to 2 years.  You will need to provide a copy of your high school/college diploma.   Also, year 2 must show proof of completion or registration to the 45 hour Connecticut Coaching Certification Course.

  • Provide Current First Aid and CPR Certification.  If not up to date, CLICK HERE for more information.  Once online portion is completed, our Athletic Trainer will complete in-person portion.

  • Provide Current Connecticut Coaching Education Concussion Module.  If not up to date, CLICK HERE 

• FOR VOLUNTEER POSITIONS: 

  • Complete the Volunteer Coaching Application

  • Answer these preliminary coaching questions.

  • Provide State of Connecticut Coaching Certification

    • To renew or obtain initial certification CLICK HERE to visit the State of Connecticut Certification website for detailed instructions.(For initial certification, must hold a current State of Connecticut Teaching certificate or have completed the 45 hour Connecticut Coaching Certification Course.

Upon completion of interview process and submission of all items above, final approval, including background check and finger printing will occur through our Central Office Human Resources department.
