The Scholar-Athlete Program annually recognizes two high school seniors โ one boy and one girl โ from each member high school whose academic and athletic careers have been exemplary, whose personal standards and achievements are a model to others, and who possess high levels of integrity, self-discipline and courage.
Since its inception, the Annual Connecticut High School Scholar-Athlete Awards Program and Banquet has honored over four thousand outstanding graduating seniors in Connecticut high schools. It has become the premier annual event in Connecticutโs education community, looked forward to by the member high schools of Connecticut as the opportunity to recognize student excellence in academics, athletics and school and community leadership. In excess of 1,600 people attend the Banquet each year.
These outstanding members of our school community showcase the passion for academics and competition.ย In addition to being honored at the annual banquet, each of their jerseys will be retired for the following school year and showcased in our gymnasium main entrance.
Enjoy the process, because many of the most memorable, genuine, and fun moments happen in between the victories.
